Heatmaps use colours to emphasise which currencies are strong or weak against other major currencies. When reading a heatmap, pay attention to the currencies in the first column, from the top to the bottom.


In other words, the US dollar is falling against both the euro and the Japanese yen, with the fall against the latter being quite strong.
